Open thread: Capitals vs. Hurricanes

Michal Neuvirth will be in net for the Capitals as they look to rebound from two straight shutouts at Verizon Center.

Tonight marks the eighth time in the past 13 games that veteran winger Mike Knuble has been a healthy scratch and his loyal supporters, Knuble’s Knights, have taken up a protest. Fans held signs reading “Free Knuble” and “Scratch Hunter” against the glass for warmups. Update: More here on the signs, which the fans were asked to take down.
