Report: D.J. King on waivers

Caps enforcer D.J. King has been placed on waivers, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.

King, who cleared waivers last February and remained with the team, is due to earn $637,500 this season. He has played in only one of the Capitals’ first nine games.

Coach Bruce Boudreau will address the move after practice, according to a team spokesman.
