Tomas Vokoun taking part in Capitals’ practice

Capitals practice is underway at KCI and Tomas Vokoun is among those on the ice after missing the past two days with a lower-body injury.

Vokoun was on the ice roughly 20 minutes before formal practice began and has remained to participate in the full session with his teammates. He is one of three goaltenders, along with Michal Neuvirth and Braden Holtby, on the ice.

Because of the nature of the emergency recall that allowed Washington to summon Holtby from Hershey, whenever Vokoun is ready to suit up for a game again he will be reassigned to the Bears.

There is full attendance at Monday’s practice, as everyone who was on the active roster for Sunday’s 1-0 loss to the Flyers is taking part.

There are a few tweaks to the line combinations, though. They are as follows:

Forwards
Ovechkin-Laich-Johansson
Chimera-Perreault-Semin
Hendricks-Beagle-Brouwer
Knuble/Aucoin-Halpern-Ward

Defense
Alzner-Carlson
Orlov-Wideman
Schultz-Green
Hamrlik-Erskine
