Washington Capitals sign AHL forward Francois Bouchard

The Capitals announced that they’ve signed AHL forward Francois Bouchard to a one-year deal.

Bouchard, 23, recorded 12 goals and 24 points in 74 games for the Hershey Bears in the 2010-11 regular season. A second-round draft pick in 2006, Bouchard has yet to make his NHL debut.

Bouchard was the final restricted free agent, who received a qualifying offer from the team remaining to be signed.
