Capitals rookie camp schedule (updated)

Capitals rookie camp kicks off with six days of on-ice workouts Wednesday Sept. 4, culminating with a game against the Flyers prospects on Sept. 9 at KCI. All practices and the rookie game are free and open to the public.

Washington’s 2012 first-round draft pick Tom Wilson, 2013 first-round draft pick Andre Burakovsky, defenseman Nate Schmidt and forward Connor Carrick are among the prospects slated to take part in rookie camp. A full camp roster, including unsigned invitees, is expected to be released next week.

Rookie camp schedule:

Fri., Sept. 6                  10 – 11:15 a.m.

Sun., Sept. 8                10 – 11:15 a.m.
Mon., Sept. 9                3 p.m. game against Flyers’ rookies
