The Capitals aim for their third consecutive win Tuesday night when they host Carolina, which has lost six of its past eight games. Braden Holtby (12-8-1, 2.64 goals-against average, .925 save percentage) gets the start against the Hurricanes, who will go with Justin Peters (4-7-1, 2.49 goals-against average, .920 save percentage).
