50 Cent suffers minor injuries in car accident

Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. (Mark Davis - GETTY IMAGES) Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was injured Tuesday when his SUV was involved in a collision with a Mack Truck on the Long Island Expressway.

The rapper’s rep told the Associated Press that 50 Cent suffered minor back and neck injuries. He was taken to a hospital in Queens, treated and released.

The person driving 50 Cent’s SUV has also been released from a hospital, according to the AP.

Images of the rapper on a spine board wearing a neck brace were published on his fan site ThisIs50Cent.com,which first reported news of the accident.
