‘A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas’: A trailer that mocks 3D

The trailer for “A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 3D” — finally, a stoner movie for the family to enjoy during the holidays! — has arrived online.

And it contains Claymation, the requisite “Harold and Kumar” appearance by Neil Patrick Harris and a round of 3D beer pong, as well as some purposely over-the-top attempts to mock the use of 3D.

“I don’t know, hasn’t the whole 3D thing jumped the shark by now?” asks John Cho’s Harold at one point. Watch the trailer and decide if this movie marks the moment when multi-dimensional filmmaking leaps over a Great White (assuming you don’t think that’s happened already).
