A mix of the morning’s entertainment headlines...
Adam Carolla does not think much of the Occupy Wall Street movement. In the comedian’s podcast from Oct. 11, which has steadily been going viral since it was posted to YouTube last week, Carolla rants in a rather NSFW way against millennials who he says are “self-entitled monsters” created by an “everyone is a winner” upbringing.
As Slate’s David Weigel notes, this view is not new for Carolla, whose last book was called “In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks: . . . And Other Complaints from an Angry Middle-Aged White Guy.”
Although 20-somethings may not appreciate being called the “participation trophy” generation, Carolla’s message is resonating with others. “Thanks 2 all the supporters out there, I'm truly grateful,” he tweeted yesterday. “Welcome 2 all newcomers, there’s more where that came from.” Listen to the whole NSFW rant at the link.
