Alec Baldwin and fiance Hilaria Thomas tied the knot Saturday, an event commemorated with a wedding announcement in the New York Times. The ceremony was held at New York’s Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, and the reception took place at the Kimmel Center at New York University. Among those in attendance: various members of the Baldwin family, Woody Allen and wife Soon-Yi Previn, Mariska Hargitay, and Tina Fey and husband Jeff Richmond. Hey, there’s Liz Lemon arriving below.

●Jay-Z and Kanye West were the big winners at Sunday’s BET Awards, taking the honors for best group and — in a controversial category in which they had two nominations, as did Beyonce — best music video for “Otis.” Responding in the only appropriate manner, Jay-Z interrupted West’s speech with an “Excuse me, Kanye, I’m going to let you continue . . .” (P.S. Kim Kardashian was indeed there to support West, sitting beside him, Jay-Z and Beyonce and wearing an all-white ensemble that matched her boyfriend’s.) Beyonce won some awards, too, as did Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj.

●Cissy Houston also paid tribute to her late daughter Whitney Houston during the BET Awards, with some help from Monica, Brandy, Chaka Khan and Gary Houston. Watch the video below, then view more photos from the BET Awards.

●Josh Lucas and his wife, Jessica, have welcomed their first son into the world. His name is Noah, and he was born Friday in New York. (People)

Joy Williams of the Grammy Award-winning band the Civil Wars also welcomed a baby over the weekend. She and husband Nate Yetton now have a son named Miles Alexander. (E! Online)

● As promised, Dish Network dropped AMC — and its affiliated channels, like IFC and WeTV — from its lineup, which means its 14 million subscribers can’t see the season premiere of “Breaking Bad,” among other things. (Bloomberg via Washington Post)

James Franco doesn’t have enough on his plate. So now he plans to start writing a monthly column for Playboy. (Vulture)

●Spider-Man, a.k.a. Andrew Garfield , admitted on Friday’s “Tonight Show” that he has a man crush on Ryan Gosling . He also called him a dreamboat. There is a meme in this revelation somewhere, I have no doubt. (Digital Spy)
