Andy Samberg’s revealing interview with Bert from ‘Sesame Street’

Bert, Ernie’s better half from “Sesame Street,” has launched his own interview series online. It’s called “Conversations With Bert.” And while it’s arguably no “Between Two Ferns” or “Fondue for Two,” Bert’s first back-and-forth, with Andy Samberg of “Saturday Night Live,” is quite revealing.

During their chat over wholesome cartons of milk, Bert gets Andy to reveal what fabric he would be if he could be any fabric and what sock he would wear if he could wear a sock from any time period. The answers are — pause for contrived dramatic effect — surprising.

Here’s hoping that part two of this interview features Samberg and Bert doing their own version of “Lazy Sunday.”
