Angelina Jolie doesn’t need a ring or marriage certificate to solidify her partnership with Brad Pitt:
“Once you have six children, you're committed.”
That was Jolie’s indirect answer to the much-asked question about a possible marriage to Pitt, posed this time by Christiane Amanpour in a ”Nightline” interview airing tonight. (Fun fact: Jolie was asked a rather similar question on “Nightline” last year.)
The actress and first time director told Amanpour that her kids have also asked about her matrimony plans: “I asked them if it was just because they wanted to have [a] big cake.”
Or perhaps, Jolie posited, they are being influenced by what they see in films: “You know, the happily ever after. Shrek and Fiona are married.”
“We've explained to them that our commitment, when we decided to start a family, was the greatest commitment you could possibly have,” Jolie said. “Once you have six children, you're committed.”
Case closed forever! (Or until the next interview.)
