While I’m still slightly miffed that there weren’t any photos leaked from Beyonce and Jay-Z's super secret 2008 wedding, the singer’s new music video for “Best Thing I Never Had” kind of makes up for it.
Beyonce invites fans into a fictional wedding, with the diva playing the part of a blushing bride who spends half the video in lingerie (obviously).
“Sucks to be you right now,” an extravagantly dressed Beyonce sings to an ex-boyfriend while dancing seductively with an outdoor column. While Beyonce also wears a wedding dress in the video, I wouldn’t recommend writhing around in the grass in one, as she does.
The only downside? There’s no dance, a la “Single Ladies,” that we can practice in our bedroom mirror.
