Bill Murray, national treasure, slides into home plate at Wrigley Field

Bill Murray. (Charles Rex Arbogast - AP)
Here’s a video of Bill Murray running the bases at Wrigley Field Thursday before he threw out the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs-Washington Nationals game.

Technically, the Cubs lost to the Nationals. But really, don’t we all win when a national treasure like Mr. Murray slides into home base so we can all have something funny to watch? Doesn’t that make the whole week worth it?

So go ahead, treat yo self. Watch the video below and slide into the weekend with a laugh.

(Pro tip: Mute the sound and watch it while listening to Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters” theme. Trust me.)
