‘Breaking Dawn’ clips debut at Comic-Con

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner appear on a panel for their film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking the Dawn Part 1" at the Comic-Con. (DENIS POROY)
Get ready to be jealous, Twi-hards, because the Post’s Jen Chaney got to see a special sneak peek of two scenes from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” at the film’s Comic-Con panel Thursday.

(You can read about the whole “Twilight” panel here.)

One of the clips shown was a scene featuring the werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) talking with Edward Cullen’s vamparents. The other was the much anticipated honeymoon scene between Edward and Bella (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.) Here’s what Chaney saw:

Said honeymoon involved plenty of lit candles, a suite that strongly resembles Angela Bassett’s villa from “How Stella Got Her Groove Back” even though it was in Brazil instead of Jamaica, an amusing “preparing to do the deed” montage starring Bella, and then the hint — a mostly chaste hint — that the deed was about happen. (Yes, this prompted some shrieking.) Condon said early in the panel that the second half of “Breaking Dawn Part 1,” the part involving Bella's prgnancy, is essentially a horror movie.

The actual gruesome birth scene wasn’t shown at Comic-Con. The film will be released in November.

So do you want to see these clips? Zap2It has a bootlegged version of Jacob’s scene and audio of the honeymoon scene up on their site now.
