Is there room in the family “Modern” for one more? Because Britney Spears would really like to hang out with the Dunphy-Pritchett crew.
It all started with a compliment Spears sent via Twitter: “I know everybody is excited about the Super Bowl, but I personally can't wait to see the next episode of Modern Family! Funniest show on TV.”
This message was retweeted by desirable “Modern Family” actress Sofia Vergara. Spears’s manager, Adam Leber, asked his Twitter followers, “[Spears] on Modern Family? What do you guys think?” (Sample thought: “Just make it happen. I will love it. I just want her happy. That's it. I'm out.”)
A very industrious fan decided to take matters into his own hands and create the hashtag, #GetBritneyOnModernFamily.
The newishly-engaged pop star responded to the hashtag by tweeting, “Ahhhh I would love to be on it!”
Entertainment Weekly says they contacted ABC for comment on this very important matter and did not get a response.
