Carrie Fisher revealed the fruits of labor this morning on the “Today” Show, showing off the new, slimmed-down physique she achieved after losing 50 pounds.
Fisher, an actress, writer and, yes, paid spokesperson for Jenny Craig, says she had gotten tired of being heavy and hated the sight of herself in the mirror. In January, weighing in at a reported 180 pounds, she announced her partnership with Jenny Craig. Now, seven months later, she’s shed more than a fourth of her previous body weight.
As Fisher, 54, told Ann Curry this morning, referring to her well-known two-piece Princess Leia ensemble: “I want to get back in the metal bikini and just like walk around the house like an idiot.”
