The odds of Donald Trump becoming the Republican presidential nominee seem to be pretty high if you believe recent polls, and on last night’s “Celebrity Apprentice” the businessman conducted an informal survey of his own. “Everybody’s saying I should run for president,” Trump said before asking meltdown king Meatloaf if he would vote for him. Of course, the singer and the rest of the contestants eagerly answered they would.
Trump, who said he has doubts that President Obama was born in the United States, will apparently use the show’s season finale to announce his presidential plans, CNN reported. No word on whether or not this season’s “Celebrity Apprentice” winner will be offered a position with the Trump administration.
One contestant’s promised vote was not enough to keep them on the show. Watch the clip below to find out who went home:
