Charlie Sheen, Ashton Kutcher make nice at Emmys; John Mayer cancels shows over illness

A mix of the morning’s entertainment headlines...

Charlie Sheen did something truly bizarre at the Emmy Awards on Sunday: He behaved like a normal human being. The actor told his old “Two and a Half Men” co-stars, “I wish you nothing but the best,” before presenting an award. Then Sheen met his replacement Ashton Kutcher backstage. He tweeted the above photo with this message: “Seriously... @ aplusk great talking to you! We'll all be watching! Make us proud!” Kutcher replied, “good to meet you too. Wishing you the best on your new gig.”

All this civility comes just a day before Sheen’s Comedy Central roast and the new season of “Two and a Half Men” are set to air.
