Conan O'Brien debuts explosive new promo for TBS show

In a new promo for his upcoming TBS debut, Conan O'Brien drives an explosives-fireworks-popcorn-packed 1969 Dodge Dart off a 900-foot cliff while a chamber orchestra plays live in the background.

According to, the promo was directed by Bryan Buckley, who "has helmed some 3 dozen Super Bowl commercials, including the 2009 Bud Light spot starring Conan."

Well done. Top this, Jay Leno.

Conan's new show debuts on Nov. 8. Here's what else we know:

Conan announced the name of the new show -- "Conan" -- back in September. Forty-five percent of you loved it.

Andy Richter will be re-joining O'Brien as wingman.

Last week, Conan got hot and sticky sweet, from his head to his feet in a show promo.

Way back in May, O'Brien acknowledged to "60 Minutes" that he'd been hurt by his dismissal from NBC.
