Darren Aronofsky directs amazing/horrifying anti-meth PSAs (Video)

Darren Aronofsky. (Matt Sayles - AP)
Darren Aronofsky is known for creating movies that blur reality and fantasy with a dash of terror added in.

Now the “Black Swan” director has used his skills to craft four mesmerizing PSAs for the Meth Project that promise to simultaneously terrify and amaze viewers.

Each television spot shows a teen asking questions about meth: what is does to their brain, how far they will go to get it, etc. The answers are blunt and disturbing, which should come as no surprise to anyone who has seen Aronofsky’s film about addiction, “Requiem for a Dream.”

Watch one of the PSAs below.

(Note: These PSAs are extremely intense and at times graphic. They may be disturbing to some viewers.)

The other PSAs, which are again graphic, can be watched here.
