Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore still haven’t escaped rumors about their marriage’s reported demise. (And they still haven’t released an official statement about it, either.) For those of you attempting to keep up with each development in the hearsay-driven pseudo-scandal, here are the latest headlines, presented in convenient list form so you can quickly share them with the co-worker who sits on the other side of your cubicle wall.

— The couple and some friends went on a camping trip last weekend, which was promptly crashed by some paparazzi and labeled an effort to save their relationship. Some utterly depressing pictures of Kutcher looking exasperated and Moore trying to chase the paps away have appeared online.

— On Monday evening, Kutcher sent the first post-marital-break-up-rumors tweet to his wife, wishing her luck as her Lifetime project, “Five,” debuted. Moore did not publicly reply. She might have direct-messaged, but if she did, it has not been reported in the media.

— That brings us to today, when Us Weekly significantly upped the ante in the Moore-Kutcher rumor sphere by publishing an interview with the woman who claims she had an affair with the “Two and a Half Men” star.

Sara Leal’s cover story. (Us Weekly)
Sara Leal, a 22-year-old administrative assistant, spares few details about the alleged sexual encounter she had with Kutcher at a San Diego hotel. Leal told the tabloid that Kutcher said he was separated from Moore. She even shared this weird post-coital detail: “I told him I was a Lutheran from Texas. He said, ‘Oh my gosh! Are you a Republican?’ ”

It’s not clear if Us Weekly compensated Leal for her interview, either for the story or photo licensing rights. Page Six reported that Leal was looking for a six-figure deal to tell her version of events. We’ve reached out to Us Weekly for comment but have not received a response.

Considering how specific and possibly defamatory this allegation is, it’s not clear how much longer the couple can remain silent.

For the moment, however, the two seem focused on their respective professional projects. And they’re still appearing in public together, with wedding rings snugly placed on their fingers. But something tells us this won’t be the last post that requires us to share Moore and Kutcher news in bullet-point fashion.
