Demi Moore to be treated for ‘exhaustion’

Demi Moore. (Phil McCarten - Reuters)
After a very rough few months, Demi Moore will seek treatment for “exhaustion.”

“Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health,” her rep said in a statement. “She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

The actress’s rep gave no other details.

A 911 call was placed from Moore’s home address Monday and one person was transported to a hospital, an L.A. City Fire Dept. spokesman confirmed to People. There’s no official word on who was taken or why. Update: Rumer Willis, Moore's oldest daughter, was photographed outside of an L.A. hospital Tuesday afternoon.

It has not been an easy few months for Moore. Her six-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher was the subject of intense tabloid speculation for several months in 2011. In November, Moore announced that the couple planned to divorce.

Moore’s rep also confirmed that the actress will not longer play Gloria Steinem in the Linda Lovelace biopic, “Lovelace.”
