First Kristen Stewart issued a public apology for cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. Now Sanders has followed suit.
Rupert Sanders, standing between Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin, is now apologizing for his dalliance with the other actor in this photo, Kristen Stewart.

Like Stewart, the filmmaker, 41, released his statement to People magazine, America’s top news source for post-tryst Hollywood apologies.
“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” he said, referring to his wife, Liberty Ross, and their two kids. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
Ross, by the way, was in “Snow White and the Huntsman” as well; the model and actress played Queen Eleanor, Snow White’s mother who — spoiler alert — dies early on in the film and is “replaced” when her husband marries a new bride (Charlize Theron).
So, to recap: Stewart cheated with the man who is married to her dead mother. In a manner of speaking based entirely on a work of fiction, that is.
Good lord, what a mess this is.
Robert Pattinson has not issued a statement yet, but set your iPhone stopwatch apps. At this rate, one could be coming any minute.
