Drew Barrymore is reportedly a married woman again.
Barrymore — the 37-year-old who navigated a path from child star and young Hollywood addict to successful adult actress and producer — said “I do” to Kopelman — a 34-year-old art dealer and son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman — on Saturday, during what People magazine described as a “garden-inspired wedding” at Barrymore’s Montecito, Calif., home.
The couple, who got engaged in December, are reportedly expecting their first child together, though Barrymore has never officially confirmed her pregnancy. Nevertheless, the celebrity media world has confirmed it for her in recent months via photos of Barrymore displaying an undeniable and growing baby bump that she has made no attempt to hide. (A photo snapped back in February of her holding a sonogram served as the initial “unofficial official” confirmation of the forthcoming Barrymore baby.)
Other things we know about Saturday’s wedding based on the reports by Us and People:
— The service was performed by a rabbi.
— Barrymore wore a Chanel gown, a nod to her new father-in-law’s former employer.
— Famous guests at the Barrymore/Kopelman affair included Cameron Diaz; Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen, Barrymore’s producing partner; Busy Phillips; and Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth, who, according to People, used the same wedding planners for their March 2011 celeb-union as Barrymore and Koppelman did for theirs. No word on whether obvious potential wedding guests like Steven Spielberg or former beau Justin Long were also in attendance.
This is the third marriage for Barrymore, who was the wife of bartender Jeremy Thomas for less than two months back in 1994, then the wife of Tom Green for less than six months in 2001 before filing for divorce. Prior to both marriages, she also was engaged twice, but never took her relationships with Leland Hayward or “90210” star Jamie Walters down the aisle.
Let’s hope this Barrymore marriage is the one that finally lasts.
