Emma Watson, the at times weepy, but always adorable “Harry Potter” star, unsuccessfully avoided questions about her alcohol use on Monday’s “Late Show.”
After passing on a question about Daniel Radcliffe’s drinking habits in the most classy way possible — “He was like the most professional, amazing guy ever” — David Letterman began questioning Watson about her own spirit consumption.
The actress, who can drink legally in both the U.S. and U.K., looked both pained and cute as she tried to move on from the question. Come on, Emma. Did you drink? You can tell us.
“Yes. Yes I have. I’ve got very, very drunk once in my life,” she confessed to applause. “Fine. I got drunk! I have been drunk!” she shouted. And then she took a bow.
