Emma Watson will return to Brown University

Emma Watson didn’t leave Brown University because of bullying or fame. In fact, the “Harry Potter” star is still enrolled at the Ivy League school and will finish her degree there.

“I’m still a student at Brown,” she told the Virginian-Pilot in an interview. “It’s just that I’ll spend my third year abroad — at Oxford. Then I’ll return to Brown to complete my last year.”

This seems to be a new plan. In April, Watson’s rep told the Associated Press that the actress was transferring schools. And in an interview with the Sunday Times Style Magazine in June, Watson confirmed she left Brown, saying fame was the cause. “I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am,” she told the magazine.

But now it seems that Watson will be a Brown grad after all, which is great news. Still, it’s not clear how she’ll have the time to do this. The 21-year-old just been cast in “Beauty and the Beast,” and has two films — “My Week with Marilyn” and “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” — coming out sometime in the next year.
