The CMA Awards ceremony Wednesday was a homecoming of sorts for Faith Hill.
After a five-year absence from the CMA stage, the 44-year-old singer debuted her new single, “Come Home.” She was welcomed back with a standing ovation.
It’s been over a decade since Hill won a Country Music Association Award, taking home female vocalist of the year in 2000. Her last album, a Christmas record, was released in 2008. Hill plans to release a new album early next year, according to People.
