The FBI has made an arrest in the celebrity phone and e-mail hacking case the agency is calling “Operation Hackerazzi,” according to a press alert.
The agency has not confirmed which members of the entertainment industry were targeted. More details will be announced at a press conference in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The Associated Press reports that charges have been filed against one Florida man. The arrest comes after a year-long investigation into celeb computer and cell phone hacking.
Update: Christopher Chaney, a 35-year-old Florida man, has been indicted for computer hacking, aggravated identity theft and illegal wire-tapping. Read more from Celebritology.
