E! News host Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill Rancic are now the parents of a baby boy. Their son, Edward Duke Rancic, was born Wednesday in Denver, via a gestational carrier. Edward is their first child; he arrives almost a year after Giuliana Rancic, a Washington area native, announced that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She has since recovered after undergoing a double mastectomy. The couple also dealt very publicly with fertility issues, which were documented on the couple’s reality show, “Giuliana & Bill.” Needless to say, they seemed pretty happy about their son’s long-awaited arrival. LeAnn Rimes has reportedly checked into an inpatient treatment facility to “cope with anxiety and stress,” her rep tells People magazine. The country singer and wife of Eddie Cibrian is expected to remain at the facility for 30 days. Her rep specifically said Rimes is not seeking treatment for an eating disorder or substance abuse. Prince Harry , who had been expected to attend Wednesday’s opening ceremonies for the 2012 Paralympic Games with Queen Elizabeth II and his brother and sister-in-law, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, did not show. Well, maybe he caught a last-minute head cold and didn’t want to sneeze on the athletes. Did you ever think of that? (Entertainmentwise)

Grantland offers a status update on Shia LaBeouf , slamming his pretentiousness but also giving him props for putting himself out there in more artistically challenging work. It also notes that he’s pretty good in “Lawless” but does not delve into his status as an actual cannibal. (Grantland)

Kim Kardashian settled that lawsuit with Old Navy about that 2011 commercial featuring Melissa Molinaro, a model who looked enough like Kardashian to prompt her to sue for making it seem like her brand was affiliated with a store that sells exceedingly affordable T-shirts and fleece jackets. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed. (Gossip Cop)

Michael Keaton has been tapped to join the cast of “Robocop,” replacing Hugh Laurie, who recently dropped out of the project. Keaton will play the evil chief executive of the company that created Robocop. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Jorge Garcia has signed on to play a giant in the second season of “Once Upon a Time.” His “Dudes” are going to be so much louder and scarier now. (Vulture)

FX has locked in for 90 more episodes of Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management,” proving that it is possible for Sheen to be in a healthy committed relationship — for now. I mean, 90 episodes is a long time so anything could happen between now and, say, episode 38. (TV Column)
