Heather Locklear was taken to a hospital by ambulance Thursday after 911 call was placed from her home.

The “Melrose Place” actress was taken to Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, Calif., where, a hospital spokeswoman told NBC-LA, Locklear is “stable, resting comfortably” and “doing quite well.” The spokeswoman could not disclose why Locklear was hospitalized.

Her parents, Bill and Diane Locklear, said in a statement to People their daughter “is in no danger and she’s going to be just fine.”

It’s unclear what Locklear is being treated for. TMZ alleges that the actress combined prescription drugs and alcohol. Her publicist did not return requests for comment from the AP.

Locklear and her longtime boyfriend, Jack Wagner, called off their engagement in November.
