Here are photos of Ian Somerhalder and Uggie. You’re welcome.

It’s Monday afternoon and the Internet has yet to meets its cuteness quota for the day.

Luckily, these photos of Ian Somerhalder and Uggie, the plucky pup from the Academy Award-winning film “The Artist,” are here to make sure online adorability ratios hold steady at appropriately “awwwwww” levels.

So, here’s a picture of the “Vampire Diaries” star and the famous Jack Russell terrier at the Humane Society’s Genesis Awards, which were held over the weekend in L.A. and where Somerhalder was honored with the Wyler Award for his animal advocacy work.

Now, before you panic and assume this is the only darling photo of Boone from “Lost” and a widdle doggie that we have to share today, please know: there are more.

Here’s one.

Here’s another, which admittedly is not the best picture of Somerhalder. But look at Uggie — he’s mugging expertly for the camera like a canine Lea Michele.

And we bring it all together with this variation on the original pouty-face pic we first shared above.

Feel free to print these out and use them to illustrate a picture book that tells the story of a TV actor, his dog and their triumph on the red carpet of a non-profit association’s awards show.
