Hugh Jackman to star as Houdini on Broadway; Amber Rose calls Kim Kardashian a homewrecker

Hugh Jackman will star in an Aaron Sorkin penned musical about magician Harry Houdini. The show will open in 2013 or 2014. Considering his one-man show earned more than $14.6 million during its 10-week run, I’d say there’s a decent chance this will be a smash. (BBC)

Amber Rose has accused Kim Kardashian of being a “homewrecker,” blaming the reality star for breaking up her relationship with rapper Kanye West in the new Star Magazine. Rose confirmed the interview was real, tweeting, “After being asked the same questions over and over in every interview for so long i had to be honest and get this off my chest ... I don't lie, i don't embellish I'm not trying to hurt anyone just setting the record straight.” Kardashian has not directly responded, but did tweet, “Remember, people only rain on your parade because they're jealous of your sun & tired of their shade.” (Radar)

Leah Messer, a 19-year-old mother of twins featured on the rather questionable MTV show “Teen Mom 2,” is reportedly pregnant and engaged. She was previously married to the the father of her two daughters. (Us Weekly)

Katy Perry is scheduled to attend the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 11, her first public appearance since splitting from Russell Brand. (People’s Choice)

Benedict Cumberbatch, who recently starred in “War Horse” and “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy,” will play a villain in J.J. Abrams’s upcoming “Stark Trek” sequel. (Variety)
