Bette Midler dropped out of playing Phil Specter’s attorney in the HBO movie about the producer. Now Helen Mirren is taking over the role. (Deadline)

Lady Gaga is wrapped in plastic and Coach Taylor of “Friday Night Lights” offers a montage of encouragement, after the jump.

Somehow I missed this shot of Lady Gaga heading to a radio appearance in New York. Presumably she did not suffocate while wearing this. (Best Week Ever)

FX picked up 13 episodes of “American Horror Story,” a drama co-created by “Glee’s” Ryan Murphy. Dylan McDermott, Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy and Connie Britton of “Friday Night Lights” will star. (Zap2It)

Speaking of “Friday Night Lights,” if that series finale still left you wanting more, here’s a mash-up of Coach Taylor’s best advice. Because you are all champions. Let’s play some football! (Vulture)
