Jason Bateman has enjoyed a long and illustrious career in show business. And as anyone familiar with his resume knows, his credits have rarely gotten more illustrious than “Teen Wolf Too,” the 1987 sequel in which Bateman played Todd Howard, a cousin of Michael J. Fox’s character from the first ”Teen Wolf,” who also has a werewolf problem. (It really does run in families, you know. Also: wolfiness really does make you extra-good at both basketball and boxing.)
During an appearance Wednesday on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” where he was promoting his new switcheroo comedy “The Change-Up” (not to be confused with last year’s “The Switch,” which was a whole different thing), Bateman decided to re-do a pivotal scene from “TW Too.” But was there any chance the former “Arrested Development” star could re-conjure the sense of tension, as well as forehead pulsating and “Exorcist”-style vocals, he managed with ease back in the ‘80s?
