Jason Bateman tweets first ‘Arrested Development’ set photo

Today’s morning mix noted that production on the new episodes of “Arrested Development” is scheduled to begin today.

Now courtesy of a tweet from Jason Bateman — the only Bluth with a somewhat solid head on his shoulders — we can all confirm that it has begun.

Clearly this photo says as much about “Arrested Development’s” return as Buster Bluth does while in a light-to-no-coma: basically nothing.

There are no recognizable Bluths in the picture. Really, the only semi-significant takeaway from the image is that it appears to have been taken on a set that resembles an airport.

So if we take that information and add it to the fact that, per Ron Howard’s previous tweet, the first episode of the fourth season focuses on Michael Bluth, we can assume that Michael is on his way to or from somewhere. Perhaps back from his season three finale trip to Cabo with George Michael?

It’s unclear, and we probably won’t know for sure until the new episodes stream next year on Netflix. But keep studying that photo closely. If you look hard and long enough, you just might spot Annyong. Because Annyong is always there . . . somewhere.
