Jason Segel was joined by some special friends this weekend as he hosted “Saturday Night Live” for the first time. Yup, the Muppets made an appearance!
Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and a few other “The Muppets” Muppets joined the actor for his opening monologue, a ditty called, “I Can’t Believe I’m Hosting ‘SNL.’”
Kermit also joined Seth Meyers for his “Really?” segment, trading outraged comments about Congress’s declaration that pizza is a vegetable. (According to the WonkBlog’s Sarah Kliff, this isn’t exactly the full story.)
Segel’s “I Love You Man” co-star, Paul Rudd, also made a surprise appearance, showing his love for the first time host in the form of a big, sloppy kiss. Watch these moments below.
