Jessica Simpson’s five best quotes about pregnancy

Jessica Simpson is expecting her first child, a fact she revealed after months of speculation by tweeting a photo of herself in a “mummy” costume.

Now that the news is out, Simpson seems more than willing to share — and in some cases overshare — details about her pregnancy. As we did with fellow expecting famous person Beyonce, Celebritology presents Simpson’s five best quotes about her pregnancy thus far.

She is not vomiting, is ‘making a baby here!’

Simpson told Access Hollywood that she has been feeling pretty good (see: not throwing up.) But do not forget — carrying a baby is hard work:

“So far, so good — no morning sickness. I feel great. I’m tired, but you know, I’m making a baby here!”

She postponed her wedding over fears of becoming a “hormonal Bridezilla”

Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson will wait until after the baby is born to plan a wedding. The reason?

“I'm going to wait until everything is over so I don't end up being a hormonal Bridezilla,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

While this makes complete sense, I imagine a Simpson-centric episode of WE tv’s “Bridezillas” would be pretty amazing.

She has been eating really salty cantaloupe

Being pregnant, Simpson is having all sorts of wacky cravings. She told People she can no longer eat pizza — it “tastes sour” — and has been eating whole heavily salted cantaloupes in one sitting — “I don't know if it’s that healthy.”

She revealed her pregnancy because it was super obvious

Simpson told ET she announced her pregnancy in October because “the stomach spoke for itself,” not because she was dying to make a Halloween pun.

She is now oversharing

This recent tweet from Simpson speaks for itself: “The average pregnant woman farts 15 times that! RT @ OMGFacts The average person expels flatulence 15 times each day!”

She also used Twitter to share this news: “My belly is officially bigger than my boobs . . . well kinda . . . ha.”

We asked for this, America people who are interested in celebrity baby bump speculation. We demanded she confirm the pregnancy and with the confirmation comes great responsibility. Until the baby arrives, which Simpson says will be sometime this spring, we will listen to her discuss her flatulence issues and sodium-packed diet. It’s part of the deal.
