Jewel and her husband, Ty Murray, welcomed a baby boy Monday evening, a rep for the singer confirmed to People.
The singer and her bull rider hubby named their 7 lbs., 6 oz. son Kase Townes Murray. (Yes, the name is a tad unusual.)
“Ty and I are so pleased to welcome our new baby boy into the world,” Jewel told People. “We are overcome with happiness — it really is as great as everyone told us it would be — better even!”
Jewel announced the pregnancy in January. She and Murray married in 2008.
Kase is the third celebrity baby born in recent days. David and Victoria Beckham welcomed a baby girl, Harper Seven, on Sunday, while Kate Hudson gave birth to a still unnamed baby boy on Saturday.
