Before the band goes on stage, can I get a countdown?

Before the band goes on stage, can I get a countdown?

Letting audiences know how long they have until the band takes the stage is a really great idea.

Jimmy Fallon will ‘Blow Your Pants Off’ for an hour on YouTube Friday night

The Jimmy Fallon faithful usually have to wait until after midnight to get their fix of the comedian on NBC. Or, for the early to bed-early to riser people among us, until the next morning.

But Friday at a decent hour (8:00 p.m. Eastern), Fallon will spend 60 minutes performing songs from his upcoming comedy album “Blow Your Pants Off” during a live “YouTube Presents” show.

He will also answer questions from Twitter users who tweet @LateNightJimmy with the hashtag #AskJimmy.

Blow Your Pants Off” is a collection of Fallon’s greatest “Late Night” songs, including “History of Rap” with Justin Timberlake, “Scrambled Eggs” with Paul McCartney and “Tebowie.” The album, which features a pantless Fallon on the cover, will be released June 12.

Watch Fallon announce the show, which will be available for viewing here, below.
