Jimmy Kimmel recruits Oprah, George Clooney, every other celebrity on the planet for post-Oscars special (video)

Jimmy Kimmel recruited almost every working actor and actress in Hollywood to participate in a pre-taped bit for his post-Oscars special. Was it better than the actual three-hour telecast? In the opinion of this writer, yes. Oh, yes indeed.

The trailer for “Movie: The Movie,” a nearly 10-minute masterpiece that borrowed from every film genre, starred Gary Oldman, George Clooney, Samuel L. Jackson, Emily Blunt, Charlize Theron, Tyler Perry, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks and too many other actors to list.

(Gabby Sidibe deserves a special shout-out for playing “Black Hitler”:
“Once you go Black Hitler, you never go back Hitler.”)

Watch the trailer below.

Then it was time to welcome special guest and Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award winner Oprah Winfrey. Watch the interview, and a funny sketch that involved Oprah stealing back her favorite things, below.

The success of the trailer caused The Post’s Lisa de Moraes to declare, “Can we all just agree that Jimmy Kimmel should host next year’s Academy Awards?” Do you agree? Tell us below.
