Jon Bernthal — whose Shane got bumped off on this week’s episode of ”Walking Dead” — made a post-zombie-death appearance on “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Monday.
He did not delve too deeply into “Dead”-related conversation, though he did make a pointed comment about how former executive producer Frank Darabont, who was fired in the middle of Season 2’s production, was a key reason the show was so good. (Implication: show not so good anymore?)
But mostly, Bernthal devoted his brief interview time to a story about how his frequent portrayal of police officers led him to attempt a citizen’s arrest. It’s a compelling tale that involves a purse snatcher, a guy dressed up as Santa and a car chase. He shares it in the video below.
