Josh Lucas has become a husband.
The actor, 40, married his girlfriend — a writer who has been identified in media reports only as “Jessica” — on Friday, as first reported by the Web site TooFab.com. No other details about the wedding were provided.
This is the first marriage for Lucas, who has appeared in such films as “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Glory Road” and “J. Edgar.”
According to a report in Us magazine, the couple is also expecting a child together, although Lucas’s rep has not confirmed that information. (Us attributes that piece of news to an unnamed source.)
Lucas has been seen most recently in NBC’s adaptation of “The Firm,” a series teetering on the verge of official cancellation. At least he has his new relationship to celebrate, one he spoke about when he shared his engagement news during a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show.” Lucas’s explanation of how he knew his wife-to-be was “the one” is a tale that involves living in a trailer and attempting to steer clear of mountain lions. You know, like all love stories. For the record, Jessica’s full name — or even her first name, for that matter — is not mentioned in the video below.
