Kanye West’s home reportedly burglarized; Courteney Cox seeks to drop Arquette name

Kanye West’s home in the Hollywood Hills was reportedly broken into Wednesday. The rapper was not at the house, as he is currently in Europe on his “Watch the Throne” tour. It’s unclear if anything was taken. (LA Times)

Courteney Cox has responded to David Arquette’s petition for divorce, also citing irreconcilable differences and seeking joint custody of their daughter Coco. Cox is asking to legally drop the Arquette last name. (AP)

Jennifer Love Hewitt’s mother Patricia died Tuesday after a battle with cancer. “She was an angel to all who knew her and they are grateful she is now in a better place,” Hewitt’s rep said in a statement. Privacy has been requested. (People)

David Boreanaz teased that the eighth season of “Bones” will be its last when he tweeted that he will be a “free agent” next year. Does this upset you? A future without “Bones?” Real talk: I’ve never seen “Bones.” (EW)

Showtime’s “Weeds,” on the other hand, is definitely ending after its eighth season. Creator Jenji Kohan told Entertainment Weekly she’s “sad.” (EW)

TMZ filmed extremely reclusive director Terrence Malick walking around with actor Benicio del Toro, but didn’t realize it at the time. Some outlets found this pretty funny. Can we have some more real talk for a moment? I also wouldn’t have recognized Malick walking down a dark street. (AV Club)
