Former “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi told George Lopez she accidentally ate six special brownies at fellow “AI” alum Paula Abdul’s house.
On Wednesday’s “Lopez Tonight,” DioGuardi said she was staying at Abdul’s house while the new “X Factor” judge was away. Abdul’s maid took some brownies out of the freezer, which DioGuardi indulged in. A few hours later, the songwriter was feeling groovy, but also a little alarmed, so she called an ambulance. The paramedic was not amused.
For the record, DioGuardi, who spent three days in the hospital after the affair, said the brownies weren’t Abdul’s. Someone brought them to her house and left them in the freezer — a very reasonable story.
