Prince William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, attended their first official engagement as a married couple at Kensington Palace in London on Thursday. The royal duo were the guests of honor at a gala to benefit the charity Absolute Return for Kids.
The former Kate Middleton dazzled in a sequined, floor-length Jenny Packham gown and shoes by L.K. Bennett, while Prince William wore a classic black tux.
Tickets to the event reportedly cost 10,000 pounds ($16,400) per attendee. Other guests included Elizabeth Hurley, Kevin Spacey and Elton John’s partner, David Furnish.
