Kate Upton’s ‘Cat Daddy' video restored; YouTube offers mea culpa

Kate Upton (Kevin Wolf - Associated Press)
Tuesday, it appeared that Kate Upton’s performance of the Rej3ctz’s “Cat Daddy” dance was too much for YouTube to handle.

The video, showing the 19-year-old model in her teeny tiny Sports Illustrated bikini busting some provocative moves, was taken down from the site. In its place was a message explaining the video had violated the site’s policy on sexual content.

But Wednesday the video, created with photographer Terry Richardson, was restored to YouTube and a mea culpa was offered.

“With the massive volume of videos on our site, sometimes we make the wrong call,” a YouTube spokesperson told The Daily Beast. “When it’s brought to our attention that a video has been removed mistakenly, we act quickly to reinstate it.”

Now, interested parties can once again view the video on YouTube. And with over 1.2 million views, it seems they are.
