Kelly Osbourne was sent to a Miami hospital over the weekend for a head injury caused by a dance move gone wrong.

“Long story short I cracked my head open then kept passing out,” Osbourne tweeted Sunday. “I have the all clear.”

Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, explained on “The Talk” how her daughter sustained the injury while dancing at a night club.

Kelly was asked to ballroom dance with a gentleman who attempted to dip her. And while ballroom dancing at a club may seem like a great idea, she learned it can end in a concussion.

During that move, she hit her head on an one of the DJ’s amplifiers, Sharon said. Kelly felt fine, but when she returned to her hotel room she fainted twice and was sent to the hospital by ambulance.

The “Fashion Police” co-host sustained a concussion and received stitches in her head, Sharon said.

Both Osbourne women thanked the staff at the Mercy Hospital for their care.
