Kid Rock honored by NAACP amid protest; Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller officially divorced

Kid Rock received the Great Expectations Award from the Detroit chapter of the NAACP while a group outside Detroit’s Cobo Award protested the honor because of Kid Rock’s frequent onstage use of the Confederate flag.(NPR)

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are now officially divorced. The split becomes official today, with Mueller receiving $55,000 a month in child support from Sheen, in addition to other hefty one-time payments. The divorce also stipulates that Mueller’s child support for their twin boys, Bob and Max, should never be less than the child support Denise Richards receives for her two children with Sheen. (TMZ)
