It appears that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian may be dating. That’s the whatever news. The good news is that the power of their combined narcissism has not caused the world to implode. The buzz began late Wednesday with the release of West’s song, “Theraflu,” which references Kardashian in the following verse: “And I admit I fell in love with Kim/ 'Round the same time she fell in love with him/ That's cool, babygirl, do your thing/Lucky I ain't had Jay drop him from the team.” (The him in that line is Kim’s ex-husband Kris Humphries , who plays for the New Jersey Nets, a team owned by West’s friend Jay-Z.)
In what is I’m sure some crazy coincidence, the pair were spotted attending “The Hunger Games” together Wednesday in New York City. Kardashian was photographed leaving West’s house the next morning, then the two had lunch and went shopping. Kardashian is in New York to appear on the “Today” show this morning, where she will likely play coy about the whole thing and drum up even more publicity for herself and West. (TMZ; Us Weekly)
In case you were wondering, Theraflu doesn’t approve of West’s song. (TMZ)
